How do I know what size to purchase?
We offer 3-4 different sizes, depending on the style that Is chosen. We recommend that you double (even triple) check the size of your plant's nursery pot (to ensure that you are purchasing the right size).
How do I know if I need a drainage hole or not?
If you intend to use your planter for indoor use, then we would suggest to not get a drainage hole. If you are purchasing the planter for outdoor use, then a drainage hole is suggested.
Do you offer saucers for planters with a drainage hole?
No, at this time we do not offer saucers.
How do I keep my plant pots looking their best once I receive?
We recommend that you avoid planting your plants directly into our light weight pots and to keep your plants in their original plastic containers or nursery pots. This will help when watering the plant (if necessary you can still remove the plants in their original plastic containers and give them a good rinse). It will also make it much easier to move the planter/plants and maintain the finish of the interior lasting longer. To remove any dirt or residue that may have gotten on the outer edges of your planter, gently wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Do you offer customs colours?
Absolutely! If there is a colour that you are seeking that we are not offering, send us an email and we can create your dream planter together!
Are Common House Studio planters available to rent for events?
Yes!! If you are interested in renting our planters for special events (such as weddings or celebrations), please send us an email. We look forward to hearing all about your special occasion!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Since all of our Common House Studio planters are painted to order, we require 10 business days (from time that order is placed) to paint and allow time to dry. You will receive an email with your tracking number once it is shipped out. As for branded planters and accessories, our processing time is 2 - 5 business days.
If you are in a rush for your items, please email us and we can provide a quote for expedited shipping. All orders ship from our Canadian studio (that means that US orders must pass through borders and this may result in shipping delays). We are not responsible for stolen or lost packages (or packages shipped to the wrong address - at checkout, please ensure the correct shipping address is used).
Can I save on shipping by purchasing multiple plant pots?
Yes!! As long as different sizes are purchased, you can save on shipping. Each pot fits perfectly inside each other (kind of like a Matryoshka doll set) so it makes it easy (and convenient) to order multiple sizes at once.
Where do you ship to?
At this time, we ship to Canada and the USA, but if you are an international customer, please send us an email and we will gladly look into a shipping quote for you.
How much duties, taxes or fees will I have to pay to ship my order outside of Canada?
Customs policies vary from country to country; we recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information. All international customers are responsible for the customs rates within their own country. Common House Studio will declare FULL value on international shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it. Unfortunately we cannot put a lower value on the parcel.
